Enquiries and professional relationships
This website includes a contact form and does not create user accounts. When you use the form or contact me by email, your name, email address, company if provided, project type, message and the technical data needed to protect the submission from misuse may be processed.
Data submitted through the form is sent by email and may be retained as a backup in the WordPress admin area. It is not used to send you unsolicited marketing communications.
Purpose and legal basis
The data will be used to answer enquiries and information requests, prepare proposals or quotations, and manage communications before a potential professional relationship. The legal basis is your consent when voluntarily sending the message and, when you request a proposal or service, taking pre-contractual steps at your request.
Providing this data is not mandatory, but without contact details and the minimum information about your request it will not be possible to reply or prepare a proposal.
Retention
Data will be retained for as long as necessary to respond to and reasonably follow up the enquiry. If no professional relationship begins, it will be deleted when no longer needed, without prejudice to its restriction during any applicable limitation periods. If a service is contracted, it will be retained for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by tax, commercial and other applicable legislation.
Recipients and service providers
Personal data will not be sold or disclosed for commercial purposes. Providers needed for hosting, email, technical maintenance, consent management and measurement may access it, acting as processors where appropriate. It may also be disclosed to public bodies, authorities or courts where required by law.
Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics and Google Search Console. These services may involve international data transfers. Google states that it relies, as applicable, on adequacy decisions such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Further details are available in Google’s information on international transfers.
If other necessary providers process data outside the European Economic Area, processing will take place only where an adequacy decision applies or appropriate safeguards have been established under the GDPR. You may request information about those safeguards using the contact address in this policy.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, or request data portability by writing to info@mbwebworks.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. Where processing is based on consent, you may also withdraw it at any time. Additional information may be requested where necessary to verify your identity.
If you believe that the processing does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
No automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects are made, and no profiling is carried out for that purpose.
